GHD Platinum

I am very disappointed in GHD, I received a GHD platinum straightener as a gift in 2016. I hardly used it and now as soon as it's switched on, a red light comes on and it doesn't heat up at all. To my utter disappointment the GHD care centre said that after 2 years they do not work on the products anymore. It's a very expensive model and apparently spare parts are not available. They should warn customers beforehand. I have read many negative reviews on this product and a 20% discount does not pay back the 3K that was spent. My first and last GHD.
