Lamb cooked in gearbox oil

Last week just after load shedding started the family decided to go and have dinner and we never really eat out at Sunninghill but this time decided to try something new - we sadly chose Ghazal for dinner and made the biggest mistake. Firstly, the chicken korma was so sweet it could of passed for a dessert which we in turn asked them to change it for lamb vindaloo - sadly the lamb vindaloo was so dark in colour and was as oily as a horse cooked in gearbox oil - needless to say it was terrible. I never thought that I would be writing this but after chatting to one of my work colleagues I thought it's best that I do because she also had the exact same experience - the food selection that we chose was absolutely terrible - not to mention the food that was terrible, the prices are also an absolute rip-off. If you want excellent value for money and good indian food, then try Maharaja - Sloane Centre - Bryanston and if you like dosa's then try Thava's in Midrand - absolutely brilliant food. I will highly recommend them. DO NOT GO TO GHAZAL's - THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE.
