EMPTY PROMISES FROM "GET RID OF IT"

We found "GET RID OF IT" on Facebook advertising "Handy Man Solutions". Our gate motor, at the time, was seemingly struck by lightning and we contacted Robert Bantjes (Rob) for assistance during January 2020. Needless to say the job has to date, not been finished yet... We obviously must, however, take into considering the COVID-19 pandemic - but 6 months is a long time needing to ask, beg and follow-up to merely get a gate motor replaced and the remote intercom working. We had to listen to excuses and stories for non-delivery all the time - and right from the start. We have now given up. Rob made such a lot of empty promises and we finally realised that he will not get back to the job he was paid for but never completed. We will have to incur further costs to have his unfinished installation finalised. Hopefully our nasty experience will stop others to end up like us...
