Torn blazer

I bought a blazer last week Monday, only to find that it was torn inside. I went back to the store for exchange with the receipt they refused and told me to pay half of the cost money for exchange because it's torn.

I felt so disgusted knowing it wasn't my fault. Kindly assist on how to deal with the matter.
