GEOTY - Solar Equipment

Beware. They sell stock that they do not have, and now it is a struggle to get a refund.

I first phoned to verify that items they advertise is in stock, and then placed and payed for 2orders, one on 20/01/22 (24 x 490W panels and Freedomwon 10/8 battery),and on 26/01/22 (3 x 490W panels). I struggled to obtain date when I can collect, and got email from Geoty Resources that delivery will only be on 8/02/2022. On the 8th I was told that the stock was not ready for collection.

I already arranged for installers to start with installation on the 9th. I was told there was no stock of the 490W panels, but they expect stock within a week. A new delivery date was communicated: 18/2/2022 and was told that because of the delay, they will deliver to my address. Delivery never took place and on Monday 22 Feb and they told me that Geoty don’t have the 490W panels and don’t plan to get soon, but they will replace the panels with 545W Canadian Solar panels at no extra cost for me, of which they do have stock in Cape town. A new delivery date was set for the 3/3/2022. I was told that the battery was available for delivery. I told them to deliver it with the panels on 3/3/22. Again no delivery took place. On follow up, I was told that there was no stock of these panels, but that a container will be released within days, and a new delivery date was set for 9/3/22. On the 9th a new delivery date was set for 15/03/22.

On the 15th Andre told me that delivery can not be done, and that he suggest that I ask for a refund. I agreed and emailed my banking details @7h30 17/03/22. I followed up about the refund on the 22/03/22, 24/03/22 & 25/03/22. I then received an email to confirm refund is scheduled for 4/4/22. After numerous calls I still have not received anything.
