George Mukhari Casualty Ward is a Slaughter Ward.

Today the third of January, at 6h30,we brought my father for medical attention at George Mukhari hospital. We had a referral from a local clinic. We were taken from pillar to post before he was attended to at around 11h20. He was referred to casualty (a packed, filthy and a smelling ward) They took time to put him on a drip. He was put on a drip at around 14h30. We were recused from continually taking care of my dad with a promise that they will take care of him. They said, from the drip, he'll be taken for ex-ray. We went home since we were exhausted and hungry. On our arrival at around 20h30, I found my father on the passage, profusely vommitted himself and breathing hard with no attedance from nurses. On enquiry, they immediately took him for ex-ray. That's how bad the service is.
