Mistreatment of patients in George Hospital by Matton and 2 nurses

Please help my mom has arthritis and Friday was admitted at George hospital in George WC. Today she called crying she wants to discharge herself due to mistreatment of a nurse working here. She can’t walk she says everytime she asks for assistance to go to the loo they start asking sarcastically how does she do when she’s at home when she needs a toilet. Again she presses a bell more than once and they come after more than 10 minutes by that time she has already peed on herself when they ask her why did she pee she didn’t answer then the nurse starts labeling her as rude and stubborn, really what are they expecting after 10 minutes of wait?!!! Then when they hive her medication they don’t even give her water she must pour herself mind you they gave her a glass big heavy jug and she can’t even bend her fingers, she asked the matron to help and she refused, if a matron is ******* who must we report the case to test she’s a superior. People in hospital are there for healing not because they want a vacation.

The worse part is my mom asked to self discharge cz she couldn’t stand the bad treatment then they force her to sign or else they won’t open doors for her

Again then I called the matron in charge now Mrs Jansen or so I’m not sure about the surname. She’s coloured. Then she says the reason why they take long they have lots of staff patients and few staff. Is that suppose to be a patients problem? I’m asking her to put a wheelchair or nappie she then says they don’t have enough wheel chairs and will try put a nappy which is something that was suppose to be done from admission seeing that she can’t walk and they have no staff. The patients on the ward they are free to tasteful in this.

I am fuming because my mom is super sick should she die who will take advantage. They are mistreating patients knowing we won’t know because visiting has been banned due to the pandemic challenge the country is facing.

Please help me this is my complaint and I’m escalating it.
