I went to Gentle Care Laundry in Thornton and it was the worst service I had ever experienced.The staff and its owner by the name of “Kenny”, are *********** and unprofessional. It was my first time using this Laundry service. Due to staff members not being mentally present I get a quote on my items only to collect them and be told ,the price that was quoted is not the actual price ,that “the price went up “, over double. The owner “Kenny “, noticed the error performed by her staff and did not try to call me to apologize for the errors of her staff, I had to call the owner upon collection only to be told that I the customer is wrong for wanting to pay a price that I was incorrectly quoted on and the price is actually higher but will give me a “discount”, on a less higher price,because it is “my fault as the customer for not checking my items “,and I said that I know exactly which items I brought in to be laundered ,that I cannot be blamed for errors performed by your staff,because I have never in my entire life heard of an owner blame their customers for errors that their staff has made. This violates the consumer protection act ,the price I was given is not the price I paid.I got quoted on one price,was not it’s actually another,got blamed for staffs mistakes and never got a Call to apologize,the only calls that were made to me was to negate prices. I in turn did not pay what I was quoted on but paid what I was told to pay (which was a higher price). I would suggest that customers rather take their laundry elsewhere. I will never use Gentle Care Laundry in Thorton ever again.
