Dark Genric Matter!

I was called by a representative of Genric Motor Warranty policy selling me the Platinum Policy (was never told cheaper options available) for my vehicle! I was told telephonically that engine, gearbox etc is covered! I signed up! Month later l e-mailed them to view my policy, it was ignored! Then my gearbox of my vehicle went into a limp mode, l called them and asked for my contract to be sent to me! I was amazed at what was covered and amounts! I was giving a telephonic go ahead for a tow truck to the workshop! The repair bill for my gearbox was R5200! I was over the moon as in my mind l’m not costing my insurer too much money! My joy was short lived as l was suppose to take out another policy for any service related issues! I blame myself as l trusted a company and to make matters worse was when they had to pay the towing truck company there R950! They had several request before paying! My installment was R569 per month and feel fortunate as l didn’t pay years on this policy! Ask these insurance companies to send you the contracts first before signing up! I cancelled my policy!
