Amazing sessions with Coach Brendan

After buying some of your products, I received a voucher that allowed me a session with Coach Brendan.

I am based in the Eastern Cape and was travelling to my hometown of Durban for the festive season, where Brendan is based. After the first (online) session, he offered to have a few personal sessions with me whilst I was in Durban (Dec 2022 & Jan 2023).

The first session was excellent – way beyond my expectations – as he showed me a number of exercises which I haven’t done before. His approach to a fully-integrated body workout was tough, but it is what I would adopt from now on.

The following 3 sessions with Brendan were even better, as we incorporated other aspects of fitness, from stretching, to using the TRX cables, as well as the elasticated resistance bands. Each session just got better from the previous one. I quite enjoyed the way he explained each exercise, and he spent a lot of time correcting me during each one. He even went to the extent of taking short videos of me doing each exercise and sending these to me via WhatsApp, which I can use as a reference when doing the training on my own.

Brendan went to the extent of telling me where I can buy the various training equipment, which I’ve already started on. I plan on creating my own ‘mini-gym’ at home, like the one I used at his premises.

As a triathlete, my training regime involved just the 3 disciplines of swimming, cycling, and running, with the odd strength training session here and there. However, with what I’ve now been exposed to by Brendan, I am certainly going to incorporate these new exercises into my program.

Oh…..and might I murmur that all the sessions I had with him was completely free of charge. He refused to accept any payment, despite me feeling guilty about the time and effort he put into me (note that the voucher was for just 1 session).

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Brendan and I feel he’s a fantastic ambassador for Genologix. A great asset indeed, which Genologix should be extremely proud of.
