Just another excuse not to pay!

I submitted a request for Authorisation to genesis medical aid on the 3rd of November. My surgery date is the 12th of November. I have not received ANY feedback from Genesis regarding if they are going to give authorisation or not. This morning ( 10/11/2015) two days before the operation i phoned them to find out what is going on, did they send the authorisation number to the doctor, because i have not yet recieveed anything. I was transfered from one person to another, The consultant said that i should hold the line she needs to speak to her manager regarding this?? I held the line, when she finally came back to me she said that they need more background regarding this????? There is no more background?? Now they want me to fill in another background form, and so should the doctor? THIS IS 2 DAYS BEFORE I HAVE TO HAVE THE OPERATION. Why did they not get back to me in time? <br> I AM CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP TO GENESIS, AND BELIEVE ME SO WILL THE REST OF MY FAMILY.
