My son had a laporascopic operation on a Saturday afternoon, and herewith the conversation with Genesis.

Kindly be advised that the scheme only funds the equivalent to an open procedure & the procedure done was a laparoscopic appendectomy.

Please note all costs associated with the laparoscopic method will be for the members own pocket.

Thank you so much for the reply, we spoke to the scheme some time ago and dr has send in a reference letter as well, Storm is a student and all happened on a Saturday afternoon and due to a few reasons they did the laparoscopic, the drs bill was paid for this after the reference was send in, is there anything else we can send in to get this bill paid as well please.
