Terrible Experience.

**Absolutely terrible experience with GRSA / VAPSSA – warranty claim rejected despite the policy saying the item is covered**

I am extremely disappointed with the way my warranty claim was handled by **GRSA (VAPSSA)**. This has been one of the most frustrating and unacceptable warranty experiences I have ever had.

My claim was **rejected on the basis that the issue was classified as “wear and tear.”** The problem is that the policy documentation I was provided **specifically states that the item I claimed for is covered under the warranty**. So how does an item clearly listed as covered suddenly become “wear and tear” when it is time to honour the claim?

This raises serious questions about the value of the warranty and the transparency of the policy. If GRSA/VAPSSA can advertise and document certain items as covered, only to reject a legitimate claim by simply labelling the failure as “wear and tear,” then what exactly are customers paying for?

The entire purpose of purchasing a warranty is to have some level of protection when something covered fails. Instead, my experience has left me feeling that the policy wording means very little when a claim actually needs to be honoured.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that I have **the policy document as evidence that the item is covered**. I expected the claim to be assessed against the actual terms and conditions of the policy, not rejected through a broad interpretation of “wear and tear.”

**I would strongly advise anyone considering GRSA/VAPSSA to read the fine print extremely carefully and question exactly how they interpret “covered” when you actually submit a claim.**

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend GRSA/VAPSSA. A warranty is only as good as the company's willingness to honour it when customers need it. Unfortunately, my experience has been that getting a claim rejected appears to be far easier than getting a covered item repaired or replaced.

**Extremely disappointing. Poor claim handling. Poor customer experience. And, most importantly, a serious disconnect between what the policy says is covered and how the claim was actually treated.**

I will be escalating this matter further and seeking a proper explanation for how an item explicitly identified as covered under the policy can be rejected as “wear and tear.”
