Help please urgent

Hellopeter we have bought a vehicle at active auto in vereeniging... We took the car for services while my engine light was on they did not found the problem. The mechanic said that the system is dirty.. It caused my turbo to over heat..we found that the air cooling pipe was block with a rubber... They came to fetch the vehicle for repairs.... But the feedback that we got from General Risk sa is that they not going to pay for the repairs because it's wear and tear... We have took out the policy the day we bought the vehicle I feel that it's unfair for us to fix the vehicle if it was something that was blocking the pipes... I do have a photo of the problem And I have all the emails sent from active auto and general risk sa.... Will you be able to help us
