Worst and ********* Service from General Motors

I have had to experience the worst of experiences in buying a vehicle when dealing with with this General Motors Dealer called Williams Hunt the Glen . I had been looking for a used Kia Picanto when I came across this nice looking Kia Picanto at this dealer. I took a phone and enquired about this vehicle through a sales man by the name of Clint. I had two questions for the sales person: is the car accident free and is the quoted price the best you can offer. His answer was that this car is free of any accident damage and its never been in an accident and the price on it was not negotiable. I accepted that and I arranged my own finance with my own bank. I had been given a manandate by the bank to consider only reputable dealers to minimize delays with the bank's risk department and I thought GM should be one of them. To my surprise it was not the case with this particular, not sure if this represents the brand's values. The whole deal went through and the bank gave me the release note to collect the vehicle. To received the shock of my life when I arrived at the dealer, the left side of the front bumper was visibly open at the top where the bumper connects to the fender, which looked like a the result of a bad job following accident damaged repairs. (Bumper was not refitted correctly). The entire bumper and right fender looked to have been resprayed. I brought this to the attention of the sales person and only then did he confess that yes the car was in minor accident and he then called his manager who even produced pictures of the car before being repaired. My biggest concern was that if the dealer could lie about such a thing, however minor it may be, what else are they not telling me about this car and any other car that they sell to their clients. My final word was that I could only carry on with the deal provided I buy the car at a price that takes into account that this car was in an accident, which would have been the case when the car comes in, it should have suffered some trade-in value drop because of that. We could not agree to that and I called my bank to call off the deal and not to continue with the payment of the dealer's invoice. Thats after having travelled 140km on the basis on a lie. Long story short this dealer's image cannot be a good to me with this kind of service experience and I would never recommend people I know to stop by, let alone buying from there or any dealer associated with these guys.
