Safety not important???

I live in the Vaal Triangle. My airbag warning light came on in my Isuzu KB250 bakkie. After phoning GM Vereeninging, and holding the line for a while, i got told that they could only help me in about a weeks time because they were fully booked. I also asked if the airbags would function if that warning light was on, and the answer i got from them was NO. One of the main safety features of the car would not work properly and they can't help me. So my safety in a GM car is not important to them???<br> <br> So i phoned the GM dealership in Alberton, thats where the next closest GM dealership is, who was also fully booked, who told me to please bring the car as soon as possible for them to help me. All it took was 5 minutes to reset the warning light. Thanks to the guys in Alberton who took the time to help me with a smile. <br>
