Rust on chev spark after 6 months - declined - reasons why

<p>Hi</p> <p> </p> <p>I bought a chev spark in February 2015. After 6 months i noticed rust inside on headrests and backboard. Contacted Key Chev Pinetown. They took photos - and guess what - nothing happened. I aprroached them again after a further 4 months after my 1st try and managed to get a very helpful gentleman called Dev. I took my car in again and they did a deep search and found even the seat clamps were rusted (looked life been under water for 50 years), They acalled the local GM factory guy who agreed they could get quote for replacing. Guess What - suddenly declined due to abnormal usage of vehicle. We are now a further 6 months into this query - and I eventually managed to get something in writing from GM . END QUOTE. I am 58 year old woman who hates the beach and have never been fishing in my life. I live in Pinetown which is nowhere near the beach. The closest i have gone to beach is to collect my Grandchildren in the parking lot of Durban Beach. Does this mean , if you buy a chev you cant go near a beach? Really. It seems to me that they are extending this query until the warranty runs out, but I cannot confirm this as I cant get hold of anyone, except the call centre.</p>
