REFUSE to solve the problem of a factory fault on a new vehicle.

I am very unhappy with their service. I have been struggling with a vehicle that a bought new almost 2 year ago, it has a factory fault that has not been solved yet. There have been ten attempts to fix the problem where the first one was to adjust the hydraulics on the steering rack, the second time was to check the serial number on the steering rack. On the third time the steering rack was replaced (before the first service of the car) but created a new set of problems with it. After that, I took it back seven times to solve the problem. The problem is still there after spending more than R2000 on fuel to get my car to the nearest GM dealer. The dealer advised me to contact GM customer care. After a few emails and phones calls it ended up with me stuck with this car and no help. I learned this week that by doing that they broke the consumer’s protection act. The consumer’s protection act states that a defective or unsafe product must be replaced after failed attempts to repair it of a full refund of the purchased product. This has not been done by General Motors South Africa. I'm paying for a new car not a second hand car.
