Isuzu egr valve service

<p>Took in my vehicle for it's 120 000km service. Notified GM Barloworld Centurion that my EGR valve is visibly leaking oil and that I think that it should be replaced.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was later the same day informed that the valve would only be cleaned and not be replaced. I said that I wouldn't be satisfied with that action only.</p> <p>I called GM head office to lay down a complaint. They said that they would have a look into that.</p> <p>Two days later I recieved a call from GM head office that the valve would only be cleaned and its ok for the valve to leak oil. Off which I wasn't very happy to hear.</p> <p>Recieved a call from GM Centurion and notified them that I would be making a plan to fetch my vehicle today.</p> <p>When I picked up my vehicle. I took the effort to check the EGR valve they should have removed and cleaned finding that the is still dirty outside.</p> <p>Notified them at the facility and they said that they would make a note of it.</p> <p>Went back home and took pictures of the valve to find that there is still dirt on the valve.</p> <p>Now if this is the sort of service that one would recieves from GM South Africa then I would reconsider my choices of ever purchasing a vehicle there again.</p>
