GM, you get what you pay for!

My wife has a 11 month old 2014 Chevrolet Captiva 2.4 LT MT which comes with keyless entry. This morning when getting back into the car after shopping she opened the left side front door and put our 11 month old daughter in the seat (with her car seat too), she then walked around the back of the car and put her handbag (which had the car keys inside) on the right rear seat. She then tried to enter the car at the drivers door.....it was locked! The alarm immediately activated and more importantly, my daughter was now stuck in the car. After calling me from the very helpful shop owners phone we got the spare key to her but this took around 20 minutes as I was at work. The dealers technician showed up prior to this and simply told my wife that she shouldn't have left the keys in the car. I've read your owners manual back to front and it mentions nothing about the doors locking after a couple of seconds!!! We also called GM head office and Zunaid told us that this was an electrical fault! We want rid of this car now as this could've been so much more serious. Take your piece of **** back and pay it off (including my deposit and 10 months payments) or we will take you to court.
