Clutch Problem

I am driving 2013 model Chevrolet utility bakkie 1.4. I had a problem with the clutch of my car. and I reported the matter to my dealership, and they told me that the clutch its a wear and tear it is not covered by a warranty, they did not open the car to check what is the problem with the car as I have already notify them of the problem. now the want me to incur all the cost for repairing it. the mileage on the car is 27774. I bought it as a demo on 12540.
