Brand New Opel Astra clutch worn out in 5 months

I recently purchased a brand New Opel Astra 1.6 Turbo Sport (2014 Model) on 17 th October 2104, on the 28th March 2014 five months later I noticed the gear to be difficult when you put it on reverse, once you get it going the car revs on 6th gear if you accelerate.I drove it back to the dealership the very monday to be told the clutch is worn out. They could not strip the car immediately to evalute and only managed the next day while I waited there. Their analysis is the fault is on the driver side and I must say the service manager at GM centurion took his time explain his analysis.<br> Now what makes me puzzled is, how come after a short period of time the clutch is completely worn out. They suggest it might be my driving style in other words I don't know how to drive but I have driven a new Ford fiesta for 3 yrs now and nt once I had to replace the clutch, so does that mean these cars are driven differently in terms of style and which one here? even if I was a horrible driver which I am not , 5months really? I used to dream of driving Astra bt that dream has jst became a nytmare. Never in my life I am buying an Opel again to pay 33k every six months if this is the case.Be warned...
