Worst medical aid scheme

I have been without medical cover for over a year due to the incompetency at GEMS. They somehow managed to automatically remove my profile from their database. I discovered that they have been deducting premiums from me but told me I do not have cover. I have submitted documents to get myself registered again which I have done more than once but I keep being told to wait and it has been over 3 months now. I need to get surgery done immediately and I cannot since I am not covered.

I regret the day that I left my excellent medical aid and joined this sham to probably enrich ANC fat cats and now we are stuck with this nonsense and cannot leave because I would forfeit my subsidy. I wish that someone with deep enough pockets can challenge this unconstitutional monopoly that leads to suffering and possibly our death at the hands of GEMS who really are in fact GERMS.
