Worst medical aid ever.

I've been with gems medical aid since 2010. They don't allocate funds for specialist. And this year I fell pregnant the medical aid gave me more stress than anything else. They don't pay all your appointments. When u ask for extra visits to the gynecologist they decline the extra visits. How is it possible your pregnant for 9 months but they only give you 3 gynecologist visits. It's better to go to the public clinic. There was never a month I didn't owe my gynecologist. Why are we paying so much for medical aid when we still have to pay the doctor and levys on medication. Gems is taking our money and getting rich every month. Their rates are not even affordable. I don't advise people to join this medical aid. The gynecologist can't even weigh the baby because gems won't pay.
