WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO COVER MY NEW BORN BABY?!!!

We cannot be paying a monthly subscription & u don't want to cover my newborn daughter. Just because home affairs has a backlog. I liaised with GEMS & communicated the delay (due to the lockdown) , but we sent the registration form to GEMS within a week of her birth & she was loaded of the medical aid but to our surprise now that we sent the birth certificate GEMS responds with that her benefits will be 1st December 2020 & her paid birth and Dr visits will be reversed. WHY, DID YOU TAKE HER ADDITIONAL MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION ON SEPTEMBER BUT YOU WANT TO REVERSE ALL HER MEDICAL PAYMENTS & ADVISED US THAT YOU DON'T REGARD MY DAUGHTER AS A NEW BORN...!!!???

CAN MY DAUGHTER BE COVERED AS OF BIRTH (AUGUST 2020) BECAUSE I DO NOT THINK I AM THE ONLY MEMBER THAT WAS FACED WITH A DELAYED BIRTH CERTIFICATE FROM HOME AFFAIRS BECAUSE OF THE LOCKDOWN. I APP**** ON TIME WITH THE HOME AFFAIRS, THEY DELAYED WITH ISSUING IT, BUT ALL THAT WAS COMMUNICATED WITH GEMS!!! AND YOU AS GEMS DEDUCT MONEY BUT WANT TO REVERSE PAYMENTS!!! NO IS IT MY FAULT OR HOME AFFAIRS!!! MY DAUGHTER IS NEW BORN CAN SHE BE COVERED WITH EMMIDIATE EFFECT OF BIRTH!!!
