Waiting period for additional dependant changes with NO VALID Explanation

I submitted an application to add a dependant onto my GEMS Medical AID All necessary documents was submitted to GEMS for processing.

On 27th June 2022 i called through to the membership department and spoke to a consultant regarding my application to add on a dependant. I received telephonic communication that there is NO OUTSTANDING information required and that the BENEFIT DATE for the new dependant will commence on 01/07/2022.

i am not sure WHY there is a change in the benefit date or WHY no explanation was given to ME.

This is unexceptable and should be rectified
