Unfair treatment

I am so disappointed 😞 😔 😪 yoooh I don't believe that GEMS had some people who are so heartless. I had done fusion for C1 to C3. Now I am struggling with pain. Acute medication funds were depleted so where in March/ April. Since than I buy with cash close to R2500 each month and still paying around R3000 medical aid. Dr motivated for chronic pain medication application sent to GEMS on the 16 August, remember I am out of medication as we speak and I am overdosing S2 which is not helping me at all. The application went to Clinical team they said. I got a call to say application has declined I am advised to apply for exgratiia which will take them 7 days to respond. I am crazy because of the pain on my neck, head and spine. GEMS say them matter is not covered and they are not approving PMB to cover for medication. I have suffer with a life threatening situation without medication because of the ICD10 code. GEMS is a waste 🗑. I am going to withdraw my membership with immediate effect
