Unauthorized admission for Gems patient

I am on adult using Gems medical aid from 2025 I am currently having critical medical issues that are daily get worse. I was admitted in May 6 2026 for severe back and hips pain and transferred to Pieter Maritzburg on 9 May 2026 to a rheumatologist who tried every day to get authorization from Gems for a scan to show him what is wrong. I didn't receive the authorization, they had sent me by ambulance but to return home in Newcastle they said they are not going to pay for the ambulance. I had to use public transport in my medical condition. I've been experiencing severe swelling ever since on the legs, back, thighs, hands, feet, face and lips. On the June 3 2026 I was taken to casualty because the swelling was becoming worse each day causing heavy body, limited mobility which I fear i might lose mobility. I saw my physician and he said he is admitting me Gems didn't authorize the admission so I went back home. With the condition that isn't diagnosed but has become worse. The rheumatologist ordered medication and the medical aid called on the 27 June to let me know and I picked the option of having it delivered till this day it hasn't been delivered.
