Thank you Thato!

I have significant concerns with GEMS and the way in which claims are made. I had attempted to make claims and got no clear response as to why they were not paid out. Unfortunately the GEMS self service website and app are non-functional.

I was assisted by Mr. Thato Shabalala after a short wait on the line. He was courteous and careful - I wish that GEMS had many more Thatos. 5 stars for him, and minus 2 stars for the terrible website and app.

I should also add that their formulary list is not extensive and some medications thus get no coverage.
