If I can give -5 stars I would. But the only way to write a complaint is to give one star at least.

Trying to get a procedure done with my regular dentist has been a nightmare with GEMS. They not authorizing the procedure as according to them, the codes don't match with their lab. The dentist has changed, and resubmitted many times and still no luck. They have done such procedures 100s of times before and never had issues, but always with GEMS. GEMS also wont advise me what codes must be used so that I can inform the dentist to fast track this. And their customer service is the most unhelpful bunch ever, with no concern for me as a paying client, or show any sign of sympathy that has this painful problem. Their last nonchalant response to me was that I must just go to another dentist? Really now? I have been with my dentist for the past 20 years. Im ever sorry I came to this medical aid, as I never had such issues before with my previous medical aid.
