SAD TO SAY THAT A REFERENCE NUMBER DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING WITH GEMS

SAD TO SAY THAT A REFERENCE NUMBER DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING WITH GEMS. I phoned in on 5 September (ref MH***) and spoke to a consultant. Based on this, I have added a dependent on my medical aid and it later came out that the consultant advised me wrongly. I was told that there will be no waiting period, I have now cancelled my dependent's medical aid and now there is a waiting period. I have requested that Gems waive this waiting period, but had a reply from Mfundo Aubrey Zibonda stating that there will be a waiting period. GEMS DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ADVISE FROM A CONSULTANT THAT IS RECORDED AND YOU HAVE A REFERENCE NUMBER.
