<p>I work for the office of the chief justice. I app**** for medical aid with GEMS in December 2016. Fair enough I made a mistake, then I app**** again in January then again in March. I was then told I'm o a waiting period for three months and my membership would be active on the 1st June. In May I call in asking when will I get my cards, then I'm told my membership was deactivated and suspended in March. No one called or emailed, nothing. Then I dig for information for an agent to tell me someone didn't click a button to acknowledge all the forms then they apologise and say they will escalate , escalation went on from May 2017 through to the 14th June 2017 when I decided to apply again. Today is the 22 July 2017, their mistakes and incompetence means to date my husband myself and our two kids are still without medical aid. And even this new application is being escalated as well. How and Why? All we need is medical aid, nothing more, nothing less. The bills have made a huge dent in our lives without medical aid. Now I'm frustrated and seeking any form of assistance anywhere I can get it to have this medical aid activated. The incompetence is disgraceful. </p>
