CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE<br> <br> I have submitted 3 claims, two for contact lenses and one for eye consultation. I made a million calls and no LUCK, i personally had to pay out of my pocket for a lot of medical bills. I have been struggling for 6 months now, call gems about my claims, I get transferred from one department to the next. I even dealt with a team leader, who was not even much help. Eventually I get told my one claim will be paid on the 27th of march. yippy i`m thinking but to my surprise no payment . I call today again and i get told by one consultant it got paid, put me through to finance department and I get told it got rejected again, Y they don't know, my consultation bill which was over R 500 for an eye test , i get call on Friday from optometrist that only R 4.30 got paid. i mean really now. R 4.30 <br> <br> Gems is the worst medical aid I ever been with and not by choose that im with them, Can someone please help give me contact detail or number i can call to take the matter further. We pay lots of money to gems every month and cant even use the medial aid.<br> <br> Please i need help. :-(
