refund from Gems

I have been contributing to my membership account twice without been aware. meaning that Gems have been deducting a normal contribution of R1467. to keep my membership active, which we agreed upon. however I had since made a stop order of R1002.00 when I retired to keep my membership active.

I called Gems concerning this matter, And was advised to walk into their offices. On the 8 December 2022 I did a walk in Pretoria Gems Offices in Arcadia. according to the lady who was assisting me, she could see that indeed i made an extra R1002.00 from 2017 to date. she consulted with her manager and i was told that all my 5year contribution will be refunded to me within 14 working days. On the 15 December 2022 Gems refunded me ONLY R1002.00. when i called them again on the 19th December to query the amount, they emailed me a consolidation letter which I still could not make sense of the money due to me. They are NOW over the phone telling me about a "difference" which I DONT KNOW ABOUT.. I am a retired citizen and I feel that the scheme is giving me a run around and taking advantage of me. I feel ******. I get different stories each time.
