Premiums still paid (debit order) for member removed

This is regards to membership ********** 65.

My mother is the main member and I was removed end of March from the medical aid since I am not a student anymore. I am working now and will get my own medical aid. After consulting GEMS, we have proof of me not being a member since end March, but my mother still paid R1000+ each month (end March for April and end Apr for May) for my benefits.

I consulted GEMS on my mother's part and just got a reply giving the info of my removal. The support is not at all helpful and very slow. We are asking for the reimbur*****t of the amounts paid too much. Clearly the premium must have been lowered.

Good day Thank you for the reply 2 months ago, but I see you have not done anything on your side. My mother received her salary in June and the GEMS premium is only R476 less. There are two problems: - It is impossible that the premium is only R476 (now in total for 3 people = R4562) less, since I am a young working male and premiums is usually R2000+ (making it at least R1000+less that my mother pays after subsidy). - In the message above you stipulated "A refund via persal will be made to you", which should have been done in June. Nothing changed. My mom only paid R476 less in total. Please be quick on your side, we have been waiting for months now and this is not acceptable at all. Basically my moms premium must be R0 for this month, if I take in account all the money you owe her. Regards Bennie

Good day Thank you for the reply. I will speak to my mother and hear if she received any discount (R826) on her premium in June. Will you please explain to me how the amount of R826 was worked out? And what was the premium for me, BVS Bronn p/m, that my mother paid each month? Will really appreciate it, thank you. Greetings Bennie
