Poor service

I’ve been having problems with GEMS since applying to be a member. I submitted my application form with ALL supporting documents in East London. I got a message saying I had an outstanding document and my application couldn’t be processed. I called to check which document was that bathi it’s my ID. I sent a copy again via email only to receive another sms saying there’s an outstanding document again all to find out (after wasting my airtime again) they had the document but someone hadn’t submitted it to the back office.

About a week or so later I was informed that my application had gone through and was told to expect a membership card. I’ve been waiting for that card since the approval on the 8th of February and it’s now the 10th of March and the card still hasn’t been delivered. Ow and I did call (wasting my airtime again) to ask what the delay was and the consultant was so rude.

Is there any other recommended medical aid for government employees besides GEMS?
