Poor poor service resulting possible period of not being covered

Two months back we have submitted a request to go over to GEMS on 1 May. Initially we planned for 1 April but GEMS could not assist so we prolonged until 1 May 2018. NOW, I have already gave two month prior notice to my current medical aid and will be cut off from 1 May.

GEMS now all of a sudden mentioned that they can only accommodate 1 June. This is suppose to be a good managed scheme.

Problem comes, we have a 6 month old baby and if anything would happen, we will not be covered.

I am deeply disappointed.

Good day GEMS online team, Will you be able to sort it out in the next hour? As I need to submit reverse termination and extension to my current provider due to 4 days of the month left and they need to process the same? If I go ahead with the extension I need to pay an additional R4000 this month for your mess.
