ONE MONTH AND NON DELIVERY OF CHRONIC MEDICATION

I emailed an elderly patient's prescription on 01-09-23. To date this patient has NOT received medication and therefore had to go WITHOUT her chronic medication. Upon querying I was told the prescription was not received, yet the email address is unchanged. Upon following up now, I was informed the medication will be delivered on the 9th of October. So that means this patient's health is at risk and she has gone without medication for more than a month. According to Mapule - the script was only received yesterday meaning that GEMS did not forward this script? This is blatant NEGLIGENCE..
