non payment of medical bills

My daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2013 and is being treated by doctor who is a paediatrician/clinical haematologist .Medical Aid is now refusing to pay these accounts based on the fact that my daughter is now 17 and not considered a child to be treated by a paediatrician failing to understand that doctor is also a Clinical Haematologist. The doctor herself has contacted them but to date numerous accounts are not paid and this is causing a problem now because of the nature of the illness my daughter needs the treatment. The doctor's practice number is *** and her name is Dr M Vaithlingum.
