Non-compliance with what they sell us

I am a GEMS member on emerald option.

Last year I was admitted in hospital for an emergency C-section. My child was born prematurely and I landed in ICU. A year later I am contacted by the department's that helped in my recovery to state that I owe them. Some have already handed me over to lawyers.

This year both my kids were admitted in hospital at different intervals, same problem occured. Service providers called to state that I owe them money.

When I app**** for GEMS I was told that hospitalization is 100% covered. I have service providers on my back on a daily basis requesting for their money. When you contact GEMS they tell you there is nothing that they can do as the claim is stale.

-physiotherapy -paediatrician -ENT -Lab -gynae

I owe all these service providers.

I am now on chronic medication and have to pay a levy everytime. What's the difference with not being on chronic. GEMS is really failing us and I FEEL THAT THEY REALLY HAVE EMPTY PROMISES. SELLING US LIES.

I have a receipt that I have to claim for from GEMS for a consultation that I paid cash for. I really doubt if I will get my money back. All they know is to take our money and not fulfill their promises.
