MEMBER NO ***<br> <br> Dear Sir/ Madam<br> I have 3 issues I need assistance with please.<br> I have tried calling but never seem to be put through to someone who can assist.<br> <br> I have been registered with GEMS for PMB benefits, for my Cardiac treatment - 2 consultations per year with my cardiologist.<br> My questions are as follows<br> 1. Why do these consultations come from my day to day benefit if it is a PMB condition?<br> 2. Must i now see my Family practitioner every time before going to my cardiologist, when he has a standing followup with me twice a year every year?<br> <br> The second issue is that of my daughter Bianca May (dependant) on my medical aid.<br> She has just been admitted to hospital and surely the costs should come from in hospital benifits. The year has hardly started and GEMS has taken some of the in Hospital costs from our day to day benifit.<br> 1. Please could I get some explanation on this?<br> <br> Kind Regards<br> JPJ Theunissen
