Medical Aid or Death Aid?

I'm a chronic patient on the medical aid scheme but I'm not being given the benefits that come with that. My blood tests from Lancet laboratories are supposed to be paid by the medical aid scheme, since I need to get these done before every check up. This has not been done and Lancet has now handed me over for non-payment of R700+. I fetched my chronic medication from Dischem last month but now I'm expected to pay around R181 to get my meds. How is this possible when all my medication was approved on chronic and I've even agreed to receive generic medication if the need arises? I've written an email to their complaints department over a week ago and there's no response. I've used their 'please call me' option and it's been days now, still no response. I'm currently almost out of my medication and don't know which other methods to use to get help. Is my case going to be taken seriously if I lose my life? Is this company being run by people who have absolutely no idea how tough it is to live with an illness and have to deal with such as well?
