Little payment from GEMS in n registered Illness

GEMS no longer pay for bloodtest done which is out of hospital, this resulted in R6000 being deducted from my Day to Day funds which is pathetic of GEMS. How must you test your cholesterol, thyroid ect? I have a spinal injury which is recorded under my chronic illnesses. I had pain block done on 7 November 2023, the surgeon only charged R4700 for his part in the operation as true as BOB GEMS is only paying from half of that. Really you are first in line coming 1 January for the yearly increase but your services rendered to clients is getting worst and worst. I have a registered illness yet GEMS feel the need not to pay a very low amount of R4700. I really think Gems should own up to clients registered illnesses and pay for that treatments in full. I sincerely hope GEMS will respond with a positive feedback.
