IM 100 % BEHIND DISBANDMENT OF GEMS
<p>GEMS must just be DISSOLVED PERIOD!!!! and as government employees be given the opportunity to join a medical aid of our choice, of late they do not want to pay for any claim, im on Sapphire Option and was admitted on November on an emergency basis, could not move nor talk, vomitting blood and my kid called an ambulance, went to the nearest hosp Sun Ward Park, GEMS did not pay for the claim, 1st because i did not get a pre Authorisation, which i latter sorted out, they questioned why it was an emergency?????????? required a code, i otained a code from the hosp ans sent it to them, within 5 min i get an automated decline response without investigations....</p> <p>All these benefits they STATED out in their broucher are non existent...we need that petition back tat suggested the disbandment of GEMS..no matter the plan you take they lately do not approve the claims, everyone in my office has a problem with GEMS if not everyone on GEMS. VERY DISAPPOINTED, their call centre agents/ customer service are clueless and often tell a different story that leaves us frustrated as to which is telling the truth.,absolutely clueless about the company they work for and ow to best attend to quiries.</p>
