Hospital Stay cut short for a Patienct who is due for Heart Sugery

My mom is currently being rehabilited for stroke at Muelmed Pretoria. She has been there for the past 29 days. She is scheduled to do a heart operation for a (pacemaker) at the Heart Hospital on Wednesday the 22nd of January. For some odd reason Gems went and inserted a name of a completely difference cardiologist. (The Dr`s details used is for a Dr who is now practicing in Port Elizabeth not Pretoria). The actual Cardiologist who is supposed to do the OP is only returning from leave on the 3rd week of January. They have now moved the dates of operation from the 22nd to the 7th of January and everybody is confused is to how, since both Muelmed and Heart do not know of the transfer for the 7th.

To make matters worse, they went and reversed or shortened my mother`s stay in the hospital, the new discharge dates are the 9th of January. How can you discharge a person who is still has drips on her, cannot seat on her own or move her body; she still needs to get a hear operation done.

No discharge planning was done for her as yet, no wheel chair or any preparation was made. She is not mobile enough to be at Muelmed as she is required to be exercising for 3 hours a day and her medical condition cannot allow her to do more than 2 and half hours. She needs to go a stepdown / sub Acute facility suitable for her.

Please correct the dates of my mother`s stay in Muelmed , until such a time where she can be able to be moved to the Heart Hospital for the Heart surgery on the 22nd of January. And I believe the cardiologist will recommend her to be moved to a suitable sub acute facility for at least another 3 weeks.
