GEMS won't help pay for alopecia meds
I've suffered with alopecia for almost twenty years. GEMS used to pay for minoxidil but stopped at some point citing the reason they couldn't was because the product didn't have a NAPPI code. I also use finasteride. I consider this to be a chronic condition, ongoing and it costs me thousands of rands per year despite having a prescription.
