GEMS violates its turnaround time policy with inefficient service
Sent authoriation request on 29 April only got response on 04 May saying more information is needed. I sent information this morning first thing. This violates their 48 hour turnaround time. My surgery is on 07 May and COVID-19 tests have been done. Doctor wants to cancel appointment due to lack of authorisation which means I lose the COVID-19 test costs.

05 May 2021, 15:45This is ridiculous you can't talk of seven days turnaround time for feedback. I'm about to forfeit R850 for the COVID-19 test I did today. I need resolution today because the doctor wants to give my Friday slot for surgery to someone else. If that happens I'll have to wait another month for another appointment. You should be prioritising this because you broke your own rules in this case. I don't under6what you'll be investigating for seven days on such a simple matter. I sent you the request o 29 April and you responded late afternoon on 04 May asking for further information which I sent twice this morning. All these dates are on your system what more are you investigating
