Gems stinking service

I have been with GEMS since it was established you can imagine how long it has been.l have never experienced the disservice i am experiencing right now from gems. I understand that the country is unruly and nobody does their duties as diligently as it used to be done, but for a medical aid its absurd. I ask myself whether there is any management in your company as it seems everyone does as they please just like the thembisa hospital, nobody at gems cares about us and our health as now they are playing with our lives. I dont know if we have to go to madlanga commission too as we were forced to take gems when we clearly knew that anything associated with gov does not work.

I have written emails after emails to gems about the service but nothing changes. I am writing this email now having a headache caused by your stress, the stress of you not want to pay for my chronic medication. It's been a month now not taking my high blood pressure medication as you refuse to pay for it even though its approved as chronic. I call your call center I am taken from pillar to post until my airtime is depleted not even a call back meaning good riddens. I take him medication my scripts are always up to date but I get to the chemist they tell me that they are not approved. I come back home then call gems 3 to 4 times every month just for my medication to be approved. I have changed my options in January now it looks like this year you are punishing me for that.

I am now receiving emails after emails asking for prove that my kids are under me,my daughter is 28 years old and as you know there is unemployment she is still under my me I send 50 emails already asking the medical aid to change her to being adult but now we are back to square one. My son is 22years old I also send emails to inform the medical aid to change him to adult but now im being harassed about that too,its unfair when people are lazy to do their duties and expect us to do theirs. It's easy a person can just check the records to see if it was ever done. I hope this email will find someone who respects their duties enough to attend to all my problems with gems. I will also send 50 emails a day to you hoping that someone responsible acts on it. I will also send it to all social media maybe I will get help from there.

I would like you to tell me what to drink for my headaches as now my BP is 180 and you are refusing to pay for my medication. I am not taking my hiv medication properly as its also a battle to get them so give me a solution to this. It's a Saturday afternoon and im writing this email so take note of that
