Gems REFUSES to PAY for heart Pacemaker OP, Wheelchair and a stay Stroke rehab center

My mother has been a Gems member for many years. On the 18th November she suffered a Stroke of which she was taken to Clinic Tzaneen (affected her entire left side). Within 12 days, she was transferred to Muelmed Pretoria for Stroke rehabilitation. Once there she was seen by a Cardiologist (From the Heart hospital), who diagnosed an irregular heartbeat and poor pumping. He recommended a heart surgery.

She needs to be moved to the Heart Hospital IMMEDIATELY for a pacemaker to be inserted. Due to poor heart condition, the the******s at Muelmed are trying to do all they can not to push her too hard during training.

I am TOLD Gems is REFUSING: 1. To authorize the heart operation (Pacemaker) 2. To authorize her stay at Muelmed rehab (post the op) 3. Refuse to authorize a wheelchair (She is paralyzed on the entire left side)..

Where can she go in her condition right now, she needs to heart operation and a rehabilitation center post the operation. Her mind is intact, her speech is fine, she knows and remembers everything. Its only the sensation on the entire left side that is gone. She is not a hopeless case, do not leave my mother to die in her hour of need.
