GEMS QUESTIOABLE SERVICE VS PAYMENT
I phoned to get process on seeing specialist. Made payment and begining of May 2024 put in claim. Letter from GEMS stating they wanted certified ID. Send cerified ID now sms stating it must be by Commisaioner. Lodge a complaint as this was not what was required, as they needed to change bank details. Now all is finalized complaint closed. No mention of payment. Send another mail stating not happy about this. Phoned on 14 June 2024 ref MH*** promise to escalate for payment week of 18th. No payment phoned new ref nr MH*** on 19 June 2024 again will escalate no payment mentioned. Transfer to dental section as I had a enquiry and phone dropped in my ear.

Then another shock they did not pay the anaestetics dr in full outside the scheme tarrifs. I made sure the tariffs for dr is inside the set limits and do not have control over the rest. So why approve if we have to pay in. I am still paying on blood tests at Vermaak for last year an now lancet this year. Now I have another account to pay. I dont see the value of us breaking our backs to have medical aid but have to pay in on everything.
